Recap / Pokemon Story Sinnoh Journey Ch 12

Go To

"I mean… Nobody acts like I won except you, Jacob, my Pokemon, and my family. It's like I never really won in the first place! You're supposed to feel a long-term sense of accomplishment when you win. I… honestly haven't. I never told you this, but I was a little jealous of you and Jacob. You two have recognized and established prestige in your family – you having Fantina and Jacob having Fisterre. I've no doubt you two would become instant celebrities after winning something major. Me? My family are a bunch of unknowns, shadows to be overlooked."
Aaron finally coming clean to Ian

The final chapter, covering the aftermath of the Sinnoh Grand Festival. It opens up with Ian packing up after losing to Nando in the quarterfinals. He's nowhere as enraged as, say, when he failed in the Wallace Cup. Meanwhile, Aaron is having his rematch with Zoey, using his new secret weapon — a Magnezone. Ian is thoroughly convinced Zoey is still going to win and instead calls Jacob. After a brief conversation, it's revealed Ian's premonition came true and Zoey defeated Aaron. Jacob suggests this is the right time to make amends with each other and hangs up. Ian catches Aaron on the way out, and the two finally explain themselves, ultimately resolving their differences to be friends and travel buddies again. The chapter closes with the Dream Team (Aaron, Ian, and Jacob) getting together to go to Tenla, setting the stage for he sequel.

Meanwhile, Aaron and Ian make a bet to see who will win the Grand Festival, Dawn or Zoey.
