Izzy is trying to find a ring to complete her Maretime Bay Day gift for Sunny so she decides to go dumpster diving to find it.

- Call-Forward: While watching the high dive competition on TV, Hitch thinks a pegasus has an unfair advantage due to their wings. In Make Your Mark, Posey's posse complains that pegasi have an unfair advantage in a sandcastle contest because Windy, a pegasus contestant, can fly to build higher.
- Disney Acid Sequence: T.R.A.S.H. is an extended song sequence where Izzy sings about going dumpster diving while literally diving and swimming through a "sea" of garbage bags, all set to psychedelic colored backgrounds and with a background cast of raccoons swimming choreographically.
- Dumpster Dive: As the title would suggest, Izzy leaps into a dumpster to find something to "uni-cycle" into a replacement part for Sunny's lantern. She even sings a song about it.
- Idiot Houdini: Izzy faces no consequences for the trouble she caused for her friends and Posey during her search for a ring.
- Interquel: The episode takes place during the events of Make Your Mark where Izzy fixed up Sunny's lantern that her father made for her and then she presents it to her as a gift.
- Parental Bonus: Izzy, looking for a ring to use for fixing Sunny's lantern, checks out a key chain hanging on Rufus' hip from behind him and says "too small". Rufus hears her and looks pretty disheartened by the comment
