Tommy, Rocky and Kim try their hardest to assist Grumble, in order to escape their fate, only to run afoul of Mondo the Magician, who cast the curse in the first place. Meanwhile, the rest of the Rangers must contend with Bulk and Skull’s created monster, Turkeyjerk.
Tropes
- Decomposite Character: Footage of Shadam in his metal-faced guise was made into Mondo the Magician whereas Shadam's role as the series' main villain was filled by Zedd.
- Demoted to Extra: Mondo's counterpart, Colonel Shadam, was actually the Big Bad of Gosei Sentai Dairanger but became a one-off villain in Power Rangers with his position being taken by Lord Zedd.
- Didn't Think This Through: Skull is afraid the Turkeyjerk will destroy the Rangers. But Bulk is convinced the Rangers will beat him.
- Impact Silhouette: Bulk and Skull crash through a corrugated metal wall in this way when trying to escape from Turkeyjerk. The monster makes another one as it chases after them.
- Irony: Bulk and Skull decide to return the Monster Making guide to the bookfair, thinking that their monster-making nearly caused the Power Rangers to die. It never occurs to them that the only reason Turkeyjerk came to life was due to Zedd's lightning.
- Jerkass with a Heart of Gold: Even after his spell is lifted, Grumble does show a bit of snark but is far more cordial to the rangers when sending them back to their reality.
- Mysterious Past: How Rita could be friends with a character from a work of fiction would be an interesting story to see, assuming that Mondo wasn't sealed into the book already by some other means.
