When the urn goes missing, Alaric, Hope, Josie, Lizzie, Kaleb, Dorian and Emma hit the road to locate the artifact before the next Malivore creature arrives. Meanwhile, Lizzie takes aim at Hope for all the past spring breaks she's ruined. Finally, the group bands together when a town-wide quarantine threatens to expose their supernatural identities.
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Lizzie accuses Hope of actual arson that took place an few years ago which cut The Saltzman Spring Break short 3 years ago and also giving her the common cold during a different break which prevented her from going to the Florida Keys.
- Conveniently Unverifiable Cover Story: Alaric claims that his family came to Maple Hollows to see their famous Ball Of Yarn and that Emma is his wife while Hope, Lizzie and Josie are his daughters from a first marriage while Kaleb poses as the twins' boyfriend.
- He Knows Too Much: Agent Clarke shoots a Triad guard, so he doesn't see him dropping the urn into Malivore. Presumably, he gets rid of the body by tossing it into Malivore as well, thus erasing all memories of the guard from the public consciousness.
- Hope Spot: The mummy is destroyed, Alaric manages to get his hands on the urn and is driving home. Then Agent Clarke rolls up with Dorian and Emma as hostages, and Alaric is forced to hand over the urn in exchange for them.
- Internal Reveal:
- Alaric and Hope reveal to the others the truth about Malivore, Triad, and the urn.
- Emma tells Dorian about her and Alaric kissing. Dorian punches Alaric and quits.
- The Reveal:
- We finally learn the Triad agent's name - Ryan Clarke.
- Triad is aware of Alaric's school.
- Josie reveals she used to have a crush on Hope. She slipped a note under Hope's door, then had second thoughts and tried to incinerate the note, accidentally starting a fire that destroyed several of Hope's possessions and ruined the Saltzmans' vacation. Lizzie has been blaming Hope for that since.
- Lizzie's hatred for Hope stems from Josie telling her that Hope said mean things about her. Josie admits she made that up on the spot in order to hide her attraction for Hope from Lizzie, supposedly to keep Lizzie from stealing Hope away from her (even though there has never been any indication that Lizzie is bixesual).
- Kill It with Fire: Josie uses a fire spell taught to her by Emma to incinerate the mummy. Subverted in that this stops the mummy only temporarily, since it's powered by a scarab-shaped stone.
- Shame If Something Happened: Clarke tells Alaric that it would be a shame if he were assigned to look into his school. Alaric takes it as the thinly-veiled threat it was meant to be.
- Super-Speed: Kaleb uses his speed to steal the mummy's cursed stone, so the twins can drain it.
- Title Drop: By Josie.
- Vacation Episode: Despite being Spring Break, there's no break from the usual monster hunting.
- Vegetarian Vampire: At the end of the episode, Kaleb is drinking blood from a pack and tells Alaric that they may have to start switching to the real stuff if they're expected to fight monsters and Triad, since animal blood isn't nearly as potent.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Partly averted. Instead of being angry at Josie for starting the animosity between Lizzie and Hope and starting a fire in Hope's room, Hope is happy that Josie had a crush on her.
