Benson gets a jump on the Mod Frogs to save Kipo, Wolf and his little buddy Dave. But it'll take a hopping mad Mega Bunny to get them out of another jam.

- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the characters facing a large group of cat mutants surrounding the pit they're in.
- Comical Nap Drool: Kipo wakes up from her sleep leaving a small puddle of drool near her.
- Death Glare: We are treated to a close-up of Wolf’s livid face when she chases after Benson and Dave to get Stalky back.
- Dual Age Modes: Dave is a mute bug that rapidly matures through his life cycle on a near daily basis.
- Funny Background Event: As Kipo agonizes over having left Benson and Dave to their fate when fleeing the frogs, Wolf is visible in the background desperately trying to fend off a swarm of angry bees after disturbing their nest.
- Hollywood Healing: Although Wolf and Mandu have several bee stings covering them after facing a swarm of Dubstep Bees, they don’t retain them for the rest of the episode.
- Humans Are Smelly: Jamack’s goons complain about how much the humans smell once they arrive at Mod Frog territory.
- Loophole Abuse: Wolf agreed to take Kipo to her home before going their separate ways. But since Kipo's home wasn't there when they arrived, Wolf takes this to mean that she's still "obligated" to stay by Kipo's side to help her.
- Negated Moment of Awesome: When it looks like Wolf and the Mod Frogs are going to have a big fight, the scene immediately cuts to Wolf and Kipo getting thrown into the back of their car with Benson and Dave. It ends up being justified in hindsight because Kipo intended to lure a Mega Bunny to the Mod Frogs using Mega Bunny fur.
- Playing Sick: Benson pretends that he been affected by "Explosion Berry" juice and is about to die to scare off the Mod Frogs.
- Sand Worm: We don’t see any, but Kipo mentions large mute worms around her burrow.
- Scary Stinging Swarm: Wolf messing with a beehive releases a swarm of angry bees too numerous, quick and small to fight. Wolf only manages to flail helplessly at them, and in the end Mandu deals with them by throwing the nest over the side of the giant turtle they're riding on and sending the bees desperately flying after it.
- Stock Beehive: The bees' nest that Wolf accidentally knocks down is the classic stack of yellow donuts tapering at both ends.
- Summon Bigger Fish: Kipo uses a clump of Mega Bunny fur to summon a mother Mega Bunny who proceeds to attack the Mod Frogs.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Both Dave and Benson seem fond of Explosion Berry soda.
- Turtle Island: Kipo, Wolf and Mandu escape from the frogs by climbing on the back of a four-eyed mutant turtle so large that it has an entire grove of trees growing on its back.
