Kenan and Kel stay at home playing a penguin board game, while the Rockmores are in a pizza restaurant to celebrate Kyra's good grades, but despite Roger's insistence to keep the house door closed, Kenan disobeyed him, resulting into two robbers stealing their furniture, so Kenan and Kel must keep Kenan's parents in the restaurant while the cops find their stolen furniture.
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Played with, as to stall Kenan's parents from going home and discovering the robbery. Kenan and Kel beg Roger and Sheryl to buy pizza for them in front of the whole restaurant, embarrassing the latter two and forcing them to buy them pizza (although Sheryl promised to ground Kenan when they returned home).
- An Aesop: Always keep your house door closed to prevent strangers from entering your home.
- Big "WHAT?!": Kyra says this when Kel accidentally reveals to her that Kenan let two robbers to steal their stuff.
- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Kenan could have avoided getting his family's stuff being stolen if he listened to his father warning him about keeping the door closed.
- Gone Horribly Right: Kel went to pick up the Rockmores's stolen stuff, but instead chose to brought to the house other neighbors's furniture, much to the Rockmores's shock and dismay.
- Identical Stranger: The two policemen called to find the Rockmores furniture resemble Kenan and Kel.
- Work Off the Debt: To stall his family from getting home and enable Kel to pick up their stolen furniture, Kenan steals Roger's wallet when he gets the bill, and as nobody else brought money. The Rockmores are forced to wash all the restaurant's dishes to pay off their dinner.
