The main four play Simon Says, but things turn chaotic when Mr. Cat becomes Simon.
"Let's Play Simon Says" contains the following tropes:
- Comically Missing the Point: Kaeloo runs around greeting all the people and non-living objects with "Good day!" By the time she finally meets Mr. Cat, the last person she wanted to greet before leaving, it's nighttime. He calls her an idiot for wasting a whole day saying "good day" to a bunch of non-living objects. Kaeloo realizes that he is right... she should probably be saying "good night" instead!
- Furry Reminder: Kaeloo uses her tongue to snatch Stumpy's game console. Later in the episode, she also mentions wanting money to buy herself a bowl and a ladder.
- "I Can't Look!" Gesture: Invoked and subverted. In "Let's Play Simon Says", Mr. Cat puts Quack Quack in a very humiliating situation and covers his eyes, saying "I can't look..." but then uncovers them and says "Or maybe I can."
- Shameful Strip: When Mr. Cat plays Simon, he forces everyone to do horrible things, and the last thing he does is force Quack Quack to take off his underwear. It turns out that Quack Quack is wearing a diaper underneath, which Mr. Cat laughs at once he gets the courage to actually look. Quack Quack, humiliated, lets out a Skyward Scream.
- Skyward Scream: Quack Quack lets one out after everyone finds out that he wears a diaper under his underwear.
- Suddenly Shouting: Kaeloo sees Mr. Cat and says "good day" to him. His response:Mr. Cat: The moon. A starry sky. (points to his bloodshot eyes) Tiredness. Mean anything to you? IT'S TWO O' CLOCK IN THE MORNING! YOU SPENT ALL DAY SAYING "GOOD DAY", BONEHEAD!
- Trash of the Titans: Stumpy, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat eat snacks and throw the wrappers behind the couch, creating a literal mountain of garbage.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: While Bad Kaeloo chases Mr. Cat around and beats him up, Stumpy and Quack Quack just sit there watching TV, and at one point Stumpy even turns around and yells at the two of them to stop being so loud because he can't hear the TV.
