After making an explosive experiment, Sniffles creates a living blob that he adopts as a pet.
"Pet Peeve" contain examples of:
- Book Ends: Lumpy gets his leg humped by Sniffles' pet both in the beginning and end.
- Credits Gag: The episode's credits music is replaced with Lumpy screaming in pain after he spills bread crumbs all over his face again.
- Cruel and Unusual Death
- The Mole's head is cut in half by the windshield of his car from the blob's acid.
- The upper part of Sniffles' head is cut off by the pavement.

- Here We Go Again!: After Lumpy, who is bandaged, starts feeding the birds again, the blob sits on his leg and exposes his bone, making him spill all the bread crumbs on him and attracting the birds that mauled him earlier.
- Random Events Plot: The episode is as follows: Sniffles creates and adopts an acidic blob. They then walk around and accidentally cause chaos.
- Running Gag: This episode continues the gag of the Mole always driving in each episode this season.
