Gordon confronts a now completely deranged Barnes. Ivy goes to Selina and Bruce for help after getting in over her head. Ed investigates Isabella's death.

  • Anger Born of Worry: Selina's reaction to finding out Ivy's alive is to hit her on the arm for not telling her she was alive.
  • Big Eater: Ivy goes through literally all the food in Selina's home, and later at Wayne Manor says she could happily eat some more.
  • Black-and-White Insanity: Barnes directly states that he sees things as only black and white, and anyone who opposes him is a criminal to be put down.
  • Comically Small Demand: Bruce asks Ivy to sell him a priceless emerald necklace so he can return it to the person she stole it from. Ivy asks for "one thousand dollars".
  • Cutting the Knot: Ivy refuses to give back the emerald to get the killers off their backs because it's valuable, so Bruce just offers to buy it from her...and because Ivy doesn't know how to negotiate, he gets it for a song.
  • Deus ex Machina: The only reason Barnes doesn't kill Gordon with his shotgun is because someone just happens to walk into the room, distracting Barnes long enough for Gordon to jump out of a window.
  • Eye Scream: The guy Ivy stole from gets a crossbow arrow through the eye.
  • Foreign Cuss Word: The guy who Ivy was stealing the emerald from called her a "schlampe", the german word for "slut"
  • He Is Not My Boyfriend: Selina is still in this stage of her relationship with Bruce, to his confusion and Ivy's amusement.
  • I Have Boobs, You Must Obey!: Ivy has learned the joys of this trope thanks to her new age.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Barnes' infection by Alice Tetch's blood is exposed.
    • Ivy reveals her survival and age-up to Bruce and Selina. Meanwhile, she also finds out they're dating.
  • Killed Off for Real: In spite of what looked to be the start of an intense storyline, Isabella really was hit by the train and killed.
  • MacGuffin: The emerald Ivy stole, which turns out to be a fake containing a key. One that some mysterious faction is after.
  • Motive Rant: Barnes gives one to the three criminals he's about to execute at the beginning of the episode.
  • Mythology Gag: Barnes, in a straightjacket in Arkahm, says "guilty".
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: Ed deduces that Isabella was murdered, but thinks Butch did it as Revenge by Proxy for exposing his scheme with the Red Hood Gang.
    • Wrong for the Right Reasons: Gordon shooting Galavan in cold blood to prevent him from using his connections and wealth to escape justice. Though Gordon admits regretting it, feels that he should have trusted the law, and wouldn't have suffered the consequences which led to him losing Lee.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Selina feels this way about Ivy's stint as a criminal.
  • Womanchild: Downplayed with Ivy, but it's clear that despite her age-up, she still has the mind of her younger self.
