Eas' Last Stand! Cure Passion is Born!! is the 23rd episode of Fresh Pretty Cure!, and the 265th episode of Pretty Cure as a franchise.
Refusing to believe Setsuna is the enemy, Love pursues her and goes into a battle against her in a forest.
This episode provides examples of:
- Battle in the Rain: Cure Peach and Eas' battle takes place in the rain.
- Bittersweet Ending: While Eas is no longer a threat and the fourth Cure has finally been identified, Cure Passion refuses to join the Cures out of guilt.
- I Reject Your Reality: Love can’t bare the fact that her friendship with Setsuna was never genuine or that she was the ruthless villain in disguise the whole time. This would become the attitude of lead cures in future seasons in similar situations.
- Never My Fault: Miki refuses to acknowledge she was too harsh on Love for calling Setsuna evil and telling her to accept it rather then considering Love's feelings.
- No Sympathy: While Buki rightfully wants to give a depressed Love space, Miki bluntly barges into her room and coldly orders her to accept that Setsuna was Eas in the disguise the whole time. Even when this attitude chases Love away, Miki refuses to accept she went too far and follows her.
- Red Is Heroic: Setsuna's new Cure form, Cure Passion wears a red gown.
- Refusal of the Call: Because of her past as Eas, Cure Passion feels unworthy of her new Cure status and walks away from it.
- Say My Name: The episode ends with Peach screaming Setsuna's name as she walks away.
- The Sixth Ranger: Fourth Ranger: Setsuna is revealed to be the missing fourth Cure, Cure Passion.
- Shout-Out: The final battle between Peach and Eas looks like Dragon Ball Z alright.
