Frasier encounters Lilith while on vacation with his new girlfriend, Madeline.

- Bait-and-Switch: Frasier talks affectionately to the person who accompanied him on vacation in the ending, making it seems like he and Madeline reconciled. It's actually Niles.
- Destructo-Nookie: Frasier accidentally breaks the bedframe while pretending he and Madeline are having sex. He's aghast that bamboo apparently costs $2,500 to replace.
- Here We Go Again!: Averted when Frasier dreams up meeting Diane Chambers like he did with Lilith when they were on vacation.
- Mistaken for Cheating: When Madeline sees Lilith at Frasier's door, she thinks he's two-timing her.
- Right Through the Wall: Frasier thinks he can hear Lilith having sex with her new boyfriend through the walls of the hotel. He starts jumping on the bed and shouting to make it seem like he and Madeline are also going at it. Cue Lilith and her boyfriend passing the window just as Madeline walks out of the bathroom.Madeline: Well obviously you don't need me!
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: What Madeline does when Lilith appears at Frasier's door.
- Vacation Episode: The first half of the episode follows Frasier ruining his vacation with Madeline because he's so distracted by Lilith being in the next room.
- Wham Shot: Frasier discovering one of his exes is in the next hotel room gets played out again, this time with the reveal being Diane Chambers. Except this time it turns out to be All Just a Dream (or possibly a nightmare) that Frasier is having.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: It's never explained what became of Madeline following her Screw This, I'm Out of Here! when Lilith comes to visit Frasier.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Niles' phobia of insects pops up with him askinf Frasier to deal with a bug that's in the shower of their hotel room.
