- By the Hair: In the beginning of the episode when Eddy is chasing Ed to try to hogtie him, we see a brief scene of Ed grabbing Eddy by his three pieces of hair and swinging him around overhead.
- The Cameo: Sarah only appears at the end of the episode ordered to get her brother and his friends to stop hiding in Ed's closet.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The Eds trying to scare the Urban Rangers away results in Rolf taking revenge by capturing each of them and traumatizing them.
- Nothing Is Scarier: What did Rolf do to Edd after he captured him? For that matter, what did he do to the other Eds?
- Out-of-Character Moment: Despite protesting the prank against the rangers the entire episode, Double D can still be heard making creepy sounds to freak the rangers out alongside Ed and Eddy. Though he might've been doing so reluctantly, given how unenthusiastic he sounds.
- Sarcasm Mode: After Edd complains that it would be bearable if he had his provisions, Eddy retorts "What's that?... I think it's the sound of no one caring!"
- Self-Serving Memory: Eddy claims he's always hated the Urban Rangers, but as Edd points out, he originally wanted to join because he liked their uniforms. Eddy states he remembers wrong and the reason why he said that is because he doesn't want to remember the failure at joining them.
- Time Skip: Three days pass between Rolf attacking the Eds and Sarah telling them to get out of Ed's closet.
