Earl and the guys spend the weekend in the woods for a "sacred ritual", but Robbie doesn't want to go, feeling it's a poor excuse for a camping trip and that the dinosaurs have become too civilized. In the woods, the males put on a pageant where Roy plays a beast of the wilderness and the others have to defeat him, but when it's time for Roy to go on, a real beast shows up and scares the men into a cave.
Meanwhile, Ethyl had switched the men's beer with coffee, and the women decide to enjoy some beer. Then they start to enjoy having the house to themselves without having to cook or clean up after the men, and after deciding that this experience is making them feel like men, they decide to find something else to do that men do. They end up watching television football and wrestling, ogling the men.
While hiding in the cave, Robbie criticizes the men for being scared when they came to hunt, but Earl admits that Robbie's right about them becoming too civilized. They all start talking about their feelings and get in touch with their feminine side. When it looks like the beast is about to finally get them, the women show up, after deciding to get back to their husbands, and defeat the beast themselves.

- All Women Are Lustful: After the women end up drinking some beer, they let loose all their inhibitions, and that includes being open about their sexual feelings for the opposite sex. Sid's wife admits that she only married him for having a nice butt, the women spend some time watching sports programs to ogle at the male athletes, they decide to come after the men after figuring that they're probably walking around naked and slapping each other with towels, and Fran makes several remarks about Earl that strongly imply she wants to jump his bones soon.

- Go Mad from the Isolation: The male dinosaurs start to suffer this as they're trapped in a cave and don't have anything to eat or they threw all their food supplies at the Beast to make it go away. They succumb to just having feminine conservations drinking coffee all day.
- Hypocrite: Robbie keeps urging the other men in his tribe to fight the Beast claiming they could take it down, but he is shown to be an outright coward himself.
- Insistent Terminology: Whenever somebody refers to the weekend as a camping trip, Earl insists that it's a sacred ritual.
- Lysistrata Gambit: After getting In Touch with His Feminine Side and subsequently seeing Fran leer at him drunkenly, Earl declares that tonight, he "has a headache".
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: The women in this episode act more like men and the men in this episode act more like women, both of them portrayed as pathetic and unproductive. The women get sloppy, hooked on sports, drinking beer and cheering when their cans leak while the men isolate to a cave to hide from that giant green beast and are too afraid to fight it so they feminize themselves and share coffee refusing to fight the beast whatsoever.

- Too Dumb to Live: The male dinosaurs as they continue to hide in a cave and are willing to starve themselves just to hide from the Beast.
