"What's going on here?" "N-nothing!"
A Plot: Wanda repairs Hank and Lacey's junk to re-sell at the community yard sale.

B Plot: Oscar, Emma, and Davis become obsessed with Karen's high-end beauty serums.

C Plot: Inspired by a self-help book, Lacey tries to purge her possessions, imploring Brent to join.

  • All Take and No Give: To Wanda's dismay, all of Hank's junk that she got for free, fixed, and planned to re-sell end up being things he borrowed from other people and never gave back, who demand that Wanda give them what's theirs for free.
  • Appearance Angst: Davis' interest in looking younger is sparked when he's chosen to be on a magazine cover, and is aghast at how old he looks on it.
  • Bland-Name Product: The self-help material Lacey reads, which encourages her to keep things that "spark bliss", is clearly reminiscent of the books by Marie Kondo.
  • Companion Cube: The episode ends with Brent going in to hug Lacey's skillet after he buys it back from the community yard sale and returns it, forgetting how hot it is after just cooking a hot dog.
  • Cosmetic Catastrophe: Karen has a bad reaction to the replacement product Davis gives her (without mentioning that Emma made it), breaking out in acne. Coupled with a bad attitude over being tricked, Emma compares her to a teenager.
  • Crack is Cheaper: Karen's beauty products turn out to be incredibly expensive, with just one bottle costing $120.
  • Cucumber Facial: Oscar, Emma, and Davis all appear this way when Karen catches them using up all of her expensive beauty products.
  • Heh Heh, You Said "X": At multiple points, Brent has a laugh over people using the word "junk".
  • Hillbilly Moonshiner: After reading the ingredients on Karen's expensive products, Emma and Oscar recreate them using the plants in Emma's garden, the process of which is halfway between this and an illegal drug den.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Wanda, who tried to cheat Hank out of making a profit, is unable to make one herself because all her new wares first belonged to other people. Additionally, she gave Hank the stuff she got from Lacey to pacify him, and Brent pays $100 to get back Lacey's skillet...or rather, takes $100 off the debt Hank owes him, which doesn't help when Hank offers Wanda half his profits to make up for her time spent fixing things.
  • Medium Awareness: While telling Wanda how it's inevitable that Lacey will visit him at home to clean his house, Brent states "If we had a way to collapse time, it's-" right before it cuts ahead to Lacey arriving at his house.
  • Neat Freak: Lacey gets too blissed out at throwing away things that don't "spark bliss", throwing away things like forks, plates, and the skillet for cooking hot dogs at The Ruby. It leads to customers having food served in measuring cups and unfolded napkins until replacements arrive.
  • What a Piece of Junk: Wanda convinces Hank to give her all the things he was planning to sell at the community yard sale by making him believe this, while secretly planning to fix it all up and make a huge profit.
