When Cronus calls upon the ghosts of three cyclopes to forge an ultimate weapon, Polyphemus sends a distress signal to Odie and the Titans.

Tropes:

  • The Bus Came Back: As it says in the title, Polyphemus returns in this episode and this time, he’s the one that needs saving.
  • Classical Cyclops: Cronus revives the ghosts of three cyclops to make him a powerful scepter.
  • Chained to a Rock: After being spotted by Cronus, Polyphemus is chained up by the ghosts of his own ancestors.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The quake spike that Odie drops in the beginning of the episode and subsequently steals from Hephaestus, ends up coming in handy in his fight against Cronus.
  • Copycat Mockery: Odie mocks Hephaestus’ strict adherence to the ways of “magic and metal” by imitating his repetitive lectures.
  • "Everybody Laughs" Ending: Hephaestus jokes that Polyphemus is only going to be the “assistant blacksmith to the gods,” and everyone laughs as the episode comes to a close.
  • Eye Scream: Cronus removing the Eye of the Storm from Polyphemus’ eye socket.
  • Lava Pit: As Jay, Odie, and Herry face Cronus, the rest of the team has to try to avoid the wrath of the cyclops without falling into a pit of lava in another part of the volcano.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Odie drops the quake spike in the beginning of the episode and causes a small earthquake.
  • Skewed Priorities: Neil stops to go back for his moisturizer as the cyclops are trying to kill them.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: It’s unsure at the end of this episode what happened to Brontes, Steropes, and Arges. With the Eye of the Storm breaking and reforming in Polyphemus’ eye socket, was Arges freed from the sands of time? Did the three of them return to their former resting place or did they get to ascend like the rest of the gods?
  • When I Was Your Age...: Hephaestus, to Odie’s frustration, discredits modern science and puts all his faith in the “magic and metal” of the old days.
