You dare not do a high-five in front of Four.
The seventeenth episode of Battle for BFDI, the first post-split episode, and the 48th episode of the overall series. The remaining 14 contestants are split into two teams of seven, based on whether or not their colour is closer to Four's (blue) or X's (yellow). The challenge is to get X back to Four, and the Four Colored Team loses.
Tropes include:
- Big "NO!": Done by Loser (in his head) when Firey doubts that his strategy will work.
- Breather Episode: Episodes 13-16 were intense, dramatic, and very plot heavy. In contrast, this episode is rather simplistic and easygoing.
- Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: Four splits the remaining 14 contestants into two teams based on whether their colour is closer to Four's (blue) or X's (yellow) respectively.
- Conflict Ball: The only thing that Balloony really does in this episode is remind Leafy that she had killed him back in episode 2.
- Deus ex Machina: The Have Cots are about to win when they realize they forgot Teardrop, so X goes flying into the Have Nots, giving them the win.
- Fingore: Four pulls out Balloony's fingers one by one until there are four of them.
- Insane Troll Logic: Loser's strategy for retrieving X is to spit on the ground so “X marks the spot.” Nobody buys it.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: Taco thinks that Loser's strategy of putting a saliva spot in the ground and relying on luck won't work to get X back, but X got thrown to the exact spot when the Four Colored Team's lasso carrying X snaps.

- To Blue's Clues when Lollipop says, "Switcheroo, we can too!"
- Ruby's line "Get in, Teardrop, we're going shopping" is a reference to Mean Girls.
- Title Drop: Done by Loser after spitting on the ground in an attempt to bring X back.
