Episode Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: During the "September" montage, Klaus goes to buy condoms. He gets a large trash bag, with the implication that it will be better than large condoms, only to put all the medium condom boxes into it.
- Chekhov's Gun: The watch necklace Stan wears throughout the episode is what saves him in the end.
- Disproportionate Retribution: The body Klaus is given was the singer of an Earth, Wind, and Fire cover band that tried to overcharge the CIA at a party. They end up freezing him in response.
- Ear Worm: Klaus getting his new human body into sexy mode is accompanied by Earth, Wind & Fire's classic "September." Once it's done, Stan is humming along to the song, then wonders how it got stuck in his head.
- Easily Forgiven: Despite Stan being against the muffin kiosk and alienating his wife in the process, Francine does forgive him when he saved her from a falling statue at the mall.
- Everyone Has Standards: While Hayley is against urbanization through deforestation, she is appalled when Arborius goes as far as bombing the mall to prove a point.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Roger never tells the family about adopting a wolf, which leads into problems for Steve's story.
- Noodle Incident: After Stan recovered from the statue piercing his Flavor Flav watch necklace, he claims that this was the second time hip-hop saved his life.Stan: "But that's another story".
- Sour Supporter: Stan is against Francine's plan of opening up a muffin shop, not even offering to invest in her plan for the kiosk.
- What Were You Thinking?: Hayley yells this to Arborius after one of his bombs nearly kills her parents. She ends up kicking his pot and breaking it.
