Rage Breaking Point / Dude Perfect

Go To

In chronological order by upload date, what sets off Tyler's "Rage Monster" in each of the group's Stereotypes videos.

  • Pickup Basketball: Missing an easy lay-up during a game.
  • Golf: Hitting a poor tee shot that goes right into the water hazard immediately to his left.
  • Fantasy Football: Being told by Cody that he lost by one in their fantasy matchup that week, before Cody realizing that Tyler had actually won.
  • Fishing: His line snapping right when he was about to reel a fish in.
  • Madden: Seeing Tony Romo throw another interception while playing as the Dallas Cowboys against Panda.
  • Gym: Hearing Garrett making fun of him for doing bicep curls with eight-pound weights, followed by Cody informing him that the senior yoga adult class would be needing them back.
  • Movie Theater: Finding out via a fan's Tweet that the other four went to see a movie without him, having made up lame excuses to not go in a group text.
  • Restaurant: Clumsy waiter Coby tripping on a chair and spilling a tray of food into his lap.
  • Super Bowl Party: Cody laughing at his team for losing and saying "They'll never win!"
  • Driving: Cody spilling smoothies on his car and refusing to apologize for it.
  • Hunting: Cody setting up trail cams in his area of the woods, and then bogarting his hunting stand.
  • Softball: Cody informing him that he's being cut from the rec league softball team because of his temper.
  • Beach: Getting a very bad sunburn, and then having Cody give him a hard pat on the back.
  • Christmas: Reciting quotes from the film Elf during a guessing game, but his teammates being unable to identify the movie because they'd never seen it.
  • March Madness: In an art gallery (that actually happened to be in the office space the group once occupied as the original DPHQ), he is informed by Garrett that Michigan State - his pick to win the tournament - was just beaten in the first round. However, Cody tases him and prevents destruction right when he's about to take a sledge hammer to a large vase, only for Cody to then back into two vases and break them himself. The only time the Rage Monster was ever stopped before he broke anything.
    • To add insult to injury, The Stinger reveals that, Garrett meant to say Michigan lost, not Michigan State, meaning Ty's bracket was still intact.
  • Grocery Store: Cody forgetting his tapioca pudding.
  • Skiing: Being aggravated by Cody seemingly overdramatizing how hurt he was by a simple fall on the slopes, and then being told that Cody had canceled the last five days of their trip, with their flights home being the next day.
  • Camping: Being offended that Cody decided to sleep in the house instead of the tent with he and Coby, and then, when confronting Cody, being offered donuts, even though he was on the keto diet.
  • Quarantine: Seeing that Cody was hoarding toilet paper and paper towels during the beginning stages of the COVID-19 Pandemic, then having Cody call him "chubby", having noticeably gained weight while stuck indoors.
  • Swimming Pool: Being told by Cody that no one brought gifts to his birthday party cookout, because Cody said not to.
  • Halloween: When the tractor stalls during a haunted hayride, the group are confronted separately by a headless horseman, a clown, and Darth Vader. However, he needs a punch in the face from Cody to be set off in order to defeat them all.
  • Game Night: Coby being unable to correctly guess his gestures during a game of charades. At the height of the rampage, Cody says to one of the other players "I told you he was going to rage!", which makes Ty instantly calm down, as it turns out 'rage' was the word he was trying to get Cody to guess.
  • Cell Phone: Being annoyed by bad cell service at a roadside fireworks stand, then being told by its owner - who else but Cody - that he wasn't welcome there.
  • Airplane: Missing his flight after his Uber driver - again, Cody - was late, and then insisted on showing him a rusty, graffiti-covered water tower that Cody had invested in instead of taking him to the airport.
  • New Parent: Being squirted in the face with water from a toy crocodile by Cody's cousin, acting as the entertainment at Cody's son's first birthday party.
  • Wedding:
    • Being offended that Sparky didn't ask him to be a groomsman, and also upset by the fact Sparky's wedding was taking place outdoors in Texas on a July afternoon. His rampage is stopped by the bride (Alexa Bliss) suplexing him through the table that the cake happens to be on.
    • After having her hair insulted, one of the guests wearing a white dress, her wedding ruined by the Rage Monster, and her husband to be failing to stop him, the bride gets pushed over the edge by the wedding planner insisting it's his wedding being ruined, causing her to go full Bridezilla. Once she got done with beating up everyone who ruined her special day, she then goes Runaway Bride by stealing the SUV and running over a pavilion.
  • Thanksgiving: Being made to take part in a recreation of the first Thanksgiving by Cody (who else?) and having his sunglasses thrown into the lake for not being "historically accurate".
  • Hotel: Finding hidden cameras and microphones in his and Garrett's hotel room, placed there by Cody (of course), the worst offender being a microphone on the Bible.
  • Neighborhood: Being sold a poorly-made Choco-Taco by none other than Cody, who charged him fifty dollars for it. What's notable about this is he doesn't snap instantly due to several mothers nearby running him off, and instead waits until 2 in the morning to vandalize Cody's front lawn as the "Silent Monster".
  • Road Trip: Cody losing his patience and repeatedly insulting him while the two are driving different cars. As soon as their cars are side-to-side and Ty's window rolls down, Cody immediately realizes how deeply screwed he is. Garrett then delivers a message from the sponsor, therapy service Better Help, while Ty wrecks Cody's car in the background.
  • Pet: For this video, the Rage Monster's role is temporarily assumed by Ty's dog (titled the "Rage Dog"), who lays waste to Cody's house after watching a compilation of Ty's rampages while left alone. Ty himself lampshades it when picking the dog up from Cody's house, happily saying "I didn't even have to rage this video!"
  • Office: Being fired by Cody, who is playing the boss in the skit. But since there are other people still working, Ty at first turns into the more subdued "Corporate Rage"... and just as Cody's finished cleaning up the small mess, Ty returns, this time as the usual "Rage Monster", and wrecks the office for real.
