The Two Lions (ふたりのライオン Futari no Lion) is a Boys' Love manga by Nagisa Furuya that was originally published in Japan by Gentosha Comics in 2019 and was localized in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in 2021.

Shortly after starting college, easygoing Junpei Shishido ends up having a chance encounter with the aloof Leo Onizuka, who he realizes went to the same high school as him, where he was a delinquent known as the "Demon Lion". At first, Leo tries to avoid Junpei, hoping to put his past behind him, but soon enough, the two of them agree to be friends. However, Junpei eventually starts to realize that his feelings for Leo may just go beyond the bounds of merely friendship.

This manga contains the following tropes:

  • Almost Kiss: Junpei gets very close to kissing Leo when the latter gets drunk at his house. However, Leo passes out for a bit before they can and ends up forgetting anything happened by the time he wakes up the next morning, while Junpei starts distancing himself from Leo to sort out his feelings. They end up kissing for real after they’ve started dating during the epilogue.
  • Badass Bystander: The reason why Leo became an outcast in high school is because he saw some punks mugging a homeless man and he came to his rescue by beating them up. However, one of his classmates saw it, leading to rumors spreading and beginning a vicious cycle of him getting into more fights.
  • Defrosting Ice King: Leo initially starts off fairly cold, but thanks to Junpei bringing him out of his shell, he eventually begins to start warming up.
  • Friendless Background: Owing to his reputation as a delinquent, Leo didn't have any friends outside of his family aside from his neighbor Ryoji until Junpei came into his life.
  • Keet: Junpei's friend, Subaru, is a cheerful young man who is prone to giving nicknames, dubbing Leo with the very cutesy "Oni-chan" shortly after meeting him.
  • Meaningful Name: The kanji shishi in Junpei's last name means "lion", which is what makes him the other lion that the title refers to.
  • Red Baron: Leo's moniker of "Demon Lion", which comes from the "Oni" in his family name, and his given name, Leo.
  • Wall Pin of Love: Accidentally happens between Junpei and Leo when Junpei tries to reach a book on a shelf at the library that was too high up for Leo to reach.
