Redouln Rising, by Damiyon Wood, a.k.a. Lonewolfshayu is a Web Serial Novel, centered around a group of aliens caught in a war with another alien faction. A group of aliens known as the Redoulnites hide on Earth, evading the diabolical aliens known as the Astoulers, who destroyed their planet. While facing various hardships involving the brutal war, the Redoulnites deal with hatred, love, betrayal, and they try hard to bring their planet back to its former glory.
Redouln Rising provides examples of:
- Achilles' Heel: All Redoulnites lose their powers when too close to Lisdolium. Except Slavus Lukrain, and eventually Sela.
- Anyone Can Die: The book has a high death toll, especially since the characters are fighting in an alien war.
