She isn't even mad over him puking over her favourite shirt, having went on a similar diet in the pasts, and orders burgers and shakes. After that, Joe reads her article on her assault and is genuinely impressed.
Joe is so horrified when he thinks he killed Delilah that he confesses it to Love, apologises to Candace and when the two are away, throws out the key he hid.
