- The movie opens with one for fans of Ultra Q, with the opening montage bringing back some of the Kaiju from that series, including Gomess and Larugeus.
- Once he departs after defeating Neronga, what's the first thing Ultraman does after assuming Kaminaga's form? He finishes what the human started, and brings the kid he protected to safety.
- When Gabora fires his radioactive breath on Ultraman, he instinctively blocks it with his arms. Then he notices that the SSSP are nearby, at risk of nuclear radiation. Immediately, he instead tanks Gabora's attack, absorbing the radiation as he proceeds forward. When the SSSP realize that Ultraman is absorbing not only the attack, but all of the ambient radiation let off from Gabora, Hiroko realizes why: "He's protecting us."
- After he saves Asami from Zarab, Ultraman gently lets her off onto the ground and gives a reassuring nod as if to tell her "everything's okay now."
- While Akihisa is sweating about how Mefilas' Beta Box demonstration shows just how insignificant human progress is in comparison, Chief Munakata, who hasn't shared much screentime with his subordinates, puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
- As Akihisa and Yumi are working deep into the night on the counter-Zetton plan, Tamura takes the time to get them both mugs of coffee.
- While discussing the counter-Zetton plan, once he learns that Ultraman will likely be dragged into the six-dimensional hole, Tamura instinctively says that they can't go through with the plan, unwilling to sacrifice Kaminaga for all of humanity. Kaminaga, meanwhile, says that his priority is humanity; if giving his life is necessary to protect them, he'll give it gladly.
- In general, Ultraman's All-Loving Hero attitude towards humanity and Earth as a whole, especially given the context that he's protecting humanity completely of his own volition rather than any sort of assignment, even to the point where he breaks his own people's laws. - The ending, which sees Shinji finally open his eyes for the first time thanks to Ultraman's sacrifice, finding his SSSP teammates gathered around him. Tamura, Funaberi and Taki are all visibly relieved; while Asami is holding back Tears of Joy to see that her buddy kept his promise to come back.Hiroko Asami: Welcome home.
