  • The Last Nintendo Power Subscriber. After learning Nintendo Power is cancelled, the grandmother makes her own issue for her grandson, which is heartwarming even though it isn't really necessary. It especially hits hard if your grandparents ever bought you a game or a subscription to said magazine.
  • "Goku Vs. Superman". While it is mostly a silly Take That! to the "Can X beat Y" debates, what shines through is that both men are portrayed near exactly the same in their source materials. Neither the Man of Steel or the Super Saiyan really want to fight eachother, rather they become fast friends and go off into the sunset to protect the innocent. It's pretty much saying that Goku and Superman are still both All Loving Heroes regardless of who's better, and the more likely outcome is that they'd become friends rather than fight eachother.
  • Inbred Yoshi. While heavy on the dark comedy and gross factor, it's very sweet how the green Yoshi is trying to protect Baby Mario from the Inbred Yoshi, who is oblivious to how his unhealthy condition would put the baby in danger.
    • Bonus: When the inbred Yoshi dies a second time, the green one turns Baby Mario away from the scene so he won't be traumatized.
  • The way "Adopting a Pokémon vs. Adopting a Dog" ends. Even if caring for a real pet is a lot harder and more expensive, the love and devotion you get in return makes it worth it.
  • Similarly, the ending to "Pokemon Childhood vs. Real Life Childhood. While Red and Misty are both complaining about having peaked at age ten, having nowhere else to go after becoming champion and a gym leader respectively, the real world kid, now all grown up, happily plays a new Pokémon game, rejoicing over the fact that he can become the champ all over again.
  • In "What Really Happens When Mario Destroys Castles", Lawrence and Daniel die while saving others.
    Daniel: "For once ... I wasn't a coward ... remember that ..."
  • The One Trainer Who Has a Reason For Catching Shiny Pokémon. It's for his albino brother.
Boy: Oh man, a shiny Wooper!
Wooper: Oh man, a shiny human!
  • All three If Pokémon Trainers Were Smart videos.
    • Red's relationship with his Scyther. It's clear that, unlike most of Dorkly's videos where the trainers treat their Pokémon like tools or slaves, Red sees Scyther as a close friend and the bug type feels the same way. The third video even ends with them riding bikes together.
    • Also, in the second video, Red uses the technology to resurrect fossil Pokémon to bring his father back to life.
  • Mario Goes Berserk (With Kindness) details Mario being nice to everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom, with no cruel punchline.
  • "It's a Wonderful Extra Life", in which the treatment of Luigi weirdly manages to be as uplifting as the film it's parodying.
  • As heartbreaking as "The End of Dorkly?" and its context is, it's one last confirmation of the bond between Red and Scyther.
Red: And please, if there is a next plane, promise you'll stop calling me boss… and start calling me friend.
