  • Shaun is supposed to have been diagnosed when he was very young. Did he receive no intervention when he was a kid? Ie, no speech therapy for him talking like someone making fun of William Shatner, nobody telling him about idioms&Expressions, and not one type of stress management technique to help deal with outbursts? I get that his intervention likely would have been in The '80s or The '90s, possibly the Turn of the Millennium, and thus it would have been way different than it is now but come on, writers. Genius or not, this person would not be able to even make it into let alone conduct himself in a professional environment. Did he simply grow up in isolation away from others with parents who didn't believe in treatment...? Or did everyone who tried just give up?
