  • If León is an enemy kingdom in the 2006 era, why does one of their knights (the Green Knight) serve under the King of Aragon, their rival?
    • Then again, the Green Knight is a mercenary. Perhaps he only serves under the King of Aragon because an Aragonian is paying him.
    • Fridge Horror: The Green Knight technically isn’t faithfully sworn to the Aragon crown in the 2006 incarnation. Meaning his betrayal was pretty much bound to happen.
  • In the 2000 show, Princess Esperanza is dating one of the knights. It changes every show because her boyfriend is ultimately the one who fights Lord Marshall. So there may be a show where she’s dating the Black and White Knight. Isn’t he a priest? A pious one to be exact?
  • Some sources call the Blue Knight a squire. But the other squires don’t participate in the tournament, so if he’s actually a squire why does he compete? Unless he’s filling in for the actual Blue Knight who didn’t show up to the tournament for some reason.
    • But in the 2012 show, the Chancellor says the Blue Knight gained honor because he’s the “champion of the defenseless”. Perhaps he gained a title for himself in spite of being a rank lower than the other five knights.
    • In the 2000 show, this is explained - he was a squire in the battle that serves as the prologue to the story, and was knighted right then and there.
"But! Standing, bloodied yet unbroken, was one young squire destined for glory. He was dubbed our newest knight of the realm, and, against all odds, helped to deliver a stunning triumph."
  • The current colors for Valiente since 2006 have been gold Fleur-de-lis on royal blue. Isn’t that a French flag? And it’s doubtful Valiente is supposed to be the Fantasy Counterpart Culture to France, since the knights’ origins are all supposed to be in Spain.
    • Perhaps it's an antecedent to Andorra, with its uniquely structured dual-nation nobility (co-princes, one each from Spain and France).
