  • Most of the units have a distinct greek-roman style, but how this works with other people like Assyrian or Shang?
    • The Middle East actually became hellenistic near the end of the vanilla game's timeframe, thanks to Alexander the Great's conquests (Rome wasn't introduced until the expansion). The Far East civilizations were literally a last minute add-on to cash on Asian gamers. That's also why the wild animals make sense (mostly) in the ancient eastern Mediterranean, but not in the Far East.
  • Was a civilization based on the Indian subcontinent ever considered, or at least implemented as a Game Mod? The Indian subcontinent had civilizations throughout the period of the game that is depicted (although to be fair the Bronze Age Indus River Valley Civilization is very poorly known and has little to no continuity with the later Indian civilizations, which may have factored into the decision to incorporate the continent).
