The film
- Tyler asks Nana if she knows who Tyler, the Creator is, and says he shares a similar sound to him from a rap standpoint.
- The Running Gag of Tyler using female pop stars as swear words. When he tries unsuccessfully to get his mom to understand how creepy the grandparents are, he lets out an exasperated "Carrie Underwood"!
- The bit where while on a walk with the grandparents, Tyler asks Becca whom he reminds her of and proceeds to act like the grandmother had from earlier in the movie where she ran back and forth throughout the house. Just this small scene had the entire theater laughing their heads off.
- YAHTZEEEE!!!
- Becca finds her ''real'' grandparents' corpses in the basement. Believing she's alone, she turns the camera to herself and the following exchange occurs:Becca, into the camera: My name is Rebecca Jamison. If you find this tape–"Pop Pop," in the doorway: My name is Mitchell.
