• The banter between Vyce and Canopus in the remake during the Tynemouth Hill battle where Canopus joins Denam's team is hilarious. Vyce takes into throwing rocks at Canopus, until he gets fed up and starts firing back at Vyce. It takes Catiua to stop the two from keep squabbling like children in the middle of a goddamn battlefield.
• Chapter 3 Chaos starts with Vyce paying a visit to Phidoch to discuss with Tartaros why the Dark Knights invaded Rhime. His manners at the conversation go beyond rude, pissing Balxephon to no end. It's much funnier in the original, where Vyce turns his sarcasm up to eleven and enters a competition with Tartaros on who has the most deadpan attitude.
  Tartaros: Hmm, so Duke Ronway's mad? What do you want us to do, then?
  Vyce: Paint my house? Wash my horse? Massage my smelly feet? Nah... Actually, I just need to know what your true intentions are.
  Tartaros: What would you do if we were to attack, say... Amorika?
  Vyce: We'll get into an even uglier situation. Duh, more innocent blood will be shed. And since you guys are the initiators, all of Valeria and Zenobia will point the finger at you and laugh.
  • The original visit of the Golyat trio and Leonar to Phidoch has some humor as well. Lanselot, in his own fortress and surrounded by his throngs of men, vacillates between chumminess and obsequious as it dawns on Leonar and the player (but not the protagonists) just how little the Lodissians care about the meeting.
• Lanselot leaves Barbas to fight you off in Chapter 4. He takes out a pistol and says that weapon is more powerful than any magic. Then he accidentally fires and shoots one of his own men in the back. Barbas then calls the contraption bedevilled and hands it to one of his other men, while in the original he mentions how dangerous it is, saying he would end up killing himself with it.
  Barbas: [In the original] Shit, this weapon is too powerful! I'm gonna hurt myself with this thing!!
  • The ensuing banter between Gildas/Canopus against Barbas are also funny in its own right.
• Deneb's quest in the remake gets a whole new flavor. Denam is his usual stoic self, but he's exasperated at Deneb's antics. Deneb in this case is apparently using telepathy, resulting in a lot of Did I Say That Out Loud moments.
• In the original game, Arycelle was named 'Aloser', and she's one of the best archers in the game. Therefore, you'll end up grinning as you think of how many enemies are felled by 'A loser'.
• Denam gets a few amusing Deadpan Snarker moments in the new translation.
  Orgeau: Make your peace with the Father now, for when Sir Xaebos returns with his legions, you will die!
  Denam: Sounds like another way to say you're doomed unless your friends come to save you.
• The Shot items could be quite hilarious if misused. nothing stops you from using it as a regular item that can be deposited next to you... meaning you get hurt too.
  • Shots also hit five squares regardless of elevation. Which means someone could be 30 tiles up or down... and still get hit.
