  • Sparing the pirate queen Veldrei in the PSP version. Yes, she's definitely pissed that Denam's army killed her husband, even if it's nothing personal. It's war, after all. Reduce her HP to a small digit, and suddenly Denam tells her to lay down her weapons. He doesn't want to kill her unborn child and tells her to live for the sake of her deceased husband. He's just here to save Cistina who's under the pirate's custody, so he'll definitely spare her if Cistina is set free. Veldrei gracefully takes the hint and retreats, along with any remaining pirates. At least that'll be one potential group Denam can spare from needless bloodshed.
  • In the Coda chapters, it's stated in Warren's report that people started seeing "ghosts" and people who shouldn't exist in Denam's group. Unlike the "main" story in New Game Plus, in the Post-End Game Content having characters in your party counts regardless of whether you saved them in that timeline. (and you can activate Coda chapters that require certain characters to be alive) Gildas, Catiua, Vyce, Ravness, the Sisters, etc. In the end, Denam can save all of his party members, regardless of being Chaos, Neutral, or Law.
  • While much of the ending, regardless of circumstance, is bittersweet at best and tragic at worst, Oelias and Dievold's parting with Denam on Neutral is squarely this. Denam is still plagued with doubts over whether or not, by being pragmatic, he acted incorrectly. Oelias thanks him and says that she and Dievold will be leaving for a quiet chapel where Dievold can spend his remaining days in peace. When Denam apologizes for not being able to do more for them, the normally quiet Dievold not only thanks him, but says that it's only now that he regrets he doesn't have more time to spend repaying Denam for his aid. Considering that Denam has spent the game constantly being questioned, criticized and brow-beaten over every little decision, some sincere thanks from someone he helped is wonderful to see.
