• On the October 8, 2001 episode of Raw, Van Dam roasted Booker T, who is a five-time WCW Champion, with this exchange:
  RVD: ...I can't believe you lost the WCW Championship five times!
  Booker: You didn't say that...
  (Booker turns to Test)
  Booker: Tell me, he did NOT just say that!
• His impersonation of the Ultimate Warrior. With Warrior standing behind him.
  • Also funny for being just about the only time Warrior has EVER looked mellow on camera.
• "This is the ECW World Championship, and I will wear it proudly. And look at this one^note the WWE Spinner belt—it spins!"
• Upon his return at the Money in the Bank ladder match, the other competitors immediately singled him out as the biggest threat, and all stared menacingly at him. RVD, in a laid back fashion, looks back as if to say, "really, guys?" and just decides to do his trademark thumb-pointing taunt for the hell of it. He gets out a "ROB-" before getting mauled by the rest of the competitors.
