- Tokage demands that Yuugi work hard to get better grades so he can have a worthy rival to compete against. If he doesn't, then they'll end up in mediocre schools followed by working at a convenience store to which Tokage will blame Yuugi for.
- To get Izuku to stop saying mean things about his other "friend" Tokage, Yuugi says the worst thing he can possibly think of.Yuugi: "All Might wouldn't say that!"
Izuku (heartbroken by the declaration): "All Might-"
Yuugi: "All Might would not, [...] and right now you’re being a butt and you need to stop because All Might would want you to stop!" - The ongoing debate over whether Endeavor farts fire or not.
- Yuugi and Izuku trying to sit on each other whenever they have a light-hearted argument. Even Jounouchi gets in on it when he joins their friend group.
- Auntie Netsuko's Turkish Angora Ra has a dastardly reputation as a devil cat who hunts all kinds of animals, killed a home intruder, and gives a hell of a time to anyone who isn't his master or Yuugi.
- Nemuri convinces Yuugi to explain to her why he doesn't like Present Mic which leads to him giving specific examples of when he destroyed public property because of his entomophobia. He says all this in front of her friend Hizashi Yamada.Hizashi: "Your aunt is the worst. The WORST. Why does she even KNOW about the spider crabs???"
Nemuri: "You shush, my aunt is making sure everyone has the legacy they deserve." - After discussing the emergence of his Quirk with his grandpa and how it's responsible for leading him to hero fights, Yuugi requests bacon for breakfast.Sugoroku: Bacon's not in your diet plan."
Yuugi: "I have a Quirk that makes me find fights. I want bacon."
Sugoroku: "Fair enough." - While recovering in the hospital, a drugged up Izuku offers to beat up Yuugi's deadbeat dad.
- In Chapter 13, Yuugi considers jumping out of the window to avoid having to talk with an enraged Jounouchi.
- What's the first thing that Yuugi does when he meets Yami in the mindscape? Kick him in the shins.
- Aizawa gives Yuugi instant detention after he declares that he won't tell anyone the next time he runs into a serial killer.
