When Consequences Come Home
is a short story written by Kudzuhaiku, and takes place sometime after The Weed and Venenum Iocus.
Tarnished Teapot has had many adventures since leaving Ponyville, but when consequences come home, they aren't always from the ones he wants to remember. He lost his virginity to a Manticore against his will, and the result of that union has come looking for her Daddy and a home to stay in.
This story contains examples of:
- As You Know: Subverted, Wormwood didn't actually read the casefile, so doesn't know what he (and the audience) are being told, but Twilight Velvet's summary serves the trope's purpose.
- Brick Joke: The lime-green ribbon.
- Cuteness Proximity: Megara's is even stronger than usual for young creature in My Little Pony. It's practically a weapon.
- Fantastic Racism: Wormwood is not fond of manticores. Adorable manticore-spawn are fine though.
- Half-Human Hybrid: Megara
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: Megara tries using them on Twilight Velvet and Wormwood. Neither of them are vulnerable.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Megara is possibly the most adorable creature in the Weedverse, going by the general reaction to her.
- Sand In My Eyes: Yes, Wormwood, the Druid's house is filled with allergens.
- Wild Child: Megara was this before seeking out Princess Cadance.
- You No Take Candle: Megara speaks Equestrian this way, due to being a Wild Child.
