Leonardo never imagined his attempt to get more pizza using a portal would wind him and his brothers in the middle of a different world with a different set of turtles.
Such is life.
‘’TMNT:Worlds Rise’’ contains the following examples:
- Can't Take Criticism: Raphael can’t handle Leo’s gentle but firm advice to simply do more training and even gets into a physical fight with him over that.
- Mundane Utility: Leo uses a portal-creating weapon to get himself to a pizza place faster than usual. He ends up blundering this task and winds up in an alternate dimension.
- Let Us Never Speak of This Again: After the Rise!Turtles fool Rahzar with Rise!Mikey dressing in drag as a female wolf and escape, Rahzar begs his teammates to not tell Shredder about this.
- Rhetorical Question Blunder: When Splinter harshly asks them if the experience of the team has actually sharpened them, Mikey cluelessly discusses all the misadventures they were on, only to realize it was actually sarcasm.
- Stern Teacher: Splinter, as usual, will not tolerate anything but the best from the Turtles; when they lower expectations through their brazen acts of immaturity, he plans to train them harder and orders them to clean their rooms.
- Stubborn Mule: Raphael reacts unusually harshly to Leo’s suggestion that he do more training.
