In which a suicidal Taylor triggers with the ability to only be hurt by something once before her body reconstitutes and she becomes completely immune to it.

  • Adaptive Ability: Taylor can only be hurt by something once before she "respawns" and becomes immune to it. It even works on things like Clockblocker's powers.
  • Blessed with Suck: Taylor's power is impressive on the face of it, as she can only be killed by something once before developing an immunity and growing stronger as a result. But while she is physically protected, it does nothing for her emotional pain, she actually has to suffer fatal damage before she can be protected from something, and she has trouble gauging her strength sometimes. In addition, not only is she suicidal as a result of the bullying in this universe, her power not letting her kill herself, her power actually makes it easier for things that haven't hurt her yet to do so, somehow generating an anti-Manton Effect, which Lisa interprets as it actively trying to kill her, though she could apparently bypass Glory Girl's field in turn after getting splatted by her. And that's not even considering how often she ends up as Ludicrous Gibs all over her teammates.
  • Death Seeker: Taylor actively seeks out new ways of dying solely to try and find a way to bypass her power's ability to heal her. She ended up joining the Undersiders in the hope of getting strong enough to get Lung to take her seriously.
  • Does Not Know His Own Strength: A problem Taylor starts having when she gets stronger, which she plays up scare the bank hostages.
  • I Cannot Self-Terminate: Taylor is actively suicidal, but her power won't let her die.
  • It Only Works Once: Taylor's powers protect her from repeated exposure to any fatal stimuli, keeping anything from affecting her more than once and reconstituting her.
  • Ludicrous Gibs: Taylor tends to up as this, even if the death source isn't powerful enough to cause it.
  • Made of Explodium: Leet actually asks if Taylor/Respawn is made of this due to how explosively her body tends to react to even his less potent stuff.
  • Only Flesh Is Safe: Averted, Taylor's powers actually have an anti-Manton effect, allowing things like Vista's powers to affect her (at least the first time).
  • Required Secondary Powers: While Taylor's power does reconstitute her entire body and clothing whenever she respawns, it actually has an anti-Manton Effect, removing Manton limits (at least for the first exposure) in what Lisa claims is an active effort to kill her. For example, Vista's power accidentally locking onto her when it normally doesn't affect living things like that. It also seems to make her easier to deal fatal damage to from things she isn't immune to yet, as the example with Leet and adapting to Clockblocker's power shows.
  • Semantic Superpower: Taylor's power can be a bit flexible about what it considers a certain type of damage. For example, it considers flame above a certain intensity as different than normal flame, and it even reacts to stuff like Clocblocker's power.
  • Suicide by Cop: Taylor fights Lung in the hopes that he'll kill her, and joins the Undersiders in the hopes that she'll get strong enough for him to allow a rematch and get him to finish the job.
