Taylor Hebert summons a Heroic Spirit. The Heroic Spirit in question filled out a CYOA and is actually from our world.

- Curb-Stomp Battle: Coil's mercenaries were unable to even hit him, when he decided to attack his base.
- Runic Magic: The Magecraft that Lancer specializes in and the first style of magic that he teaches Taylor. Lancer demonstrates the sheer versatility of his Runecraft by using them for everything from burning entire rooms, augmenting his physical abilities, clairvoyance, or just heating up a cold warehouse. Despite not being summoned as a Caster, he’s skilled enough with them that it doesn’t hamper him at all.
- Self-Insert: A variation. The main character is Cu Chulainn, AKA. Lancer, but he has the memories and abilites of someone who has completed the Worm CYOA.
- Shout-Out: Lancer has a habbit of occasionally speaking in limericks, similarly to his counterpart in Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Abridged.
- Stern Teacher: Despite being Taylor’s servant, he doesn’t go easy on her training and pushes her to her limits so that she can become a hero. When she surpasses his expectations, Lancer openly praises her and lauds her skills.
- Training from Hell: In preparation for teaching her Magecraft, and in order so he body can hadle it, Lancer makes Taylor go through a grueling physical training.
