Hater Good Side Story: Swayed Decisions
is a story for The Hater Good and a crossover of Bread Winners and Pickle and Peanut. SwaySway is being harassed by his childhood friend and he wants to figure out why.
Swayed Decisions provides examples of:
- Actually Pretty Funny: Subverted, SwaySway laughs along with Sophee's practical jokes on him until they become more hurtful.
- Anguished Declaration of Love: Sophee tearfully admits she loves SwaySway and that she's mean to him because she feels left out now that he's made other friends.
- Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Buhdeuce tells Sophee that her feeling left out about growing apart from SwaySway is no excuse to be a big bully to him.
- Interspecies Romance: Sophee is a sparrow in love with SwaySway the duck, and later falls for Citrus the axolotl.
- Loving Bully: Deconstructed. Sophee insults and plays mean pranks on her childhood friend SwaySway to mask her crush on him, but it's made clear by him and his friends that this annoys and hurts him and not only ruins his chances with her but also puts a dent on their friendship.
- My Nayme Is: Sophee's name is an unusual spelling of the real life name Sophie.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: SwaySway takes Sophee's insults harder than he normally would with anyone else, Pickle takes note of this and it's revealed he's hurt because she used to be a close friend of his.
- Queer Establishing Moment: Sophee had a crush on SwaySway but at the end of the story she dates an axolotl lady named Citrus.
- Time Skip: The story ends with Sophee and SwaySway as older and working out their differences, they spend time together before Sophee has a healthy relationship with her new girlfriend.
- We Used to Be Friends: Sophee and SwaySway used to be best friends until they grew apart and she ends insulting him and plays hurtful pranks. By the end of the story, they make amends and eventually become friends again.
