Ginny Weasley and the Heir of Slytherin
is a Harry Potter fanfic posted on FanFiction.Net in 2009 and 2010. It is a Pseudo-Canonical Fic that tells Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets from Ginny's perspective.

- Canon Foreigner: Several students in Ginny's year, with her dorm mates Fleeta, Kimmy, and Lorelei being the most prominent.
- Dramatic Irony: There are several ironic Call Forwards. For example, Percy scolds Ginny for using the word "bitch", saying "Ginny, language! What d'you think your mother would think if she were here? Do you think she would ever use a word like "bitch"?"
- It's All My Fault: Ginny very much blames herself for failing to stop the attacks.
- I Wished You Were Dead: At one point, Ginny gets angry at Colin, yelling at him that she hates him and never wants to see him again. That's the last thing she says to him before he turns up Petrified.
- Missing Time: As per canon, Ginny loses her memory whenever Riddle takes control of her. She finally realizes that he's responsible when it occurs to her that every time she's lost her memory, the last thing she could remember was writing in the diary.
- Was It All a Lie?: Asked by Ginny when she's in the Chamber of Secrets at the end. Riddle replies that it was indeed all a lie and then mocks her for a bit.
