Izuku befriends Mina during the Sports Festival Arc and, while it alters very little in terms of plot, it changes Izuku's perspective forever. Mina gets promoted to a main character and Love Interest.

This fanfic provides examples of:
- Accidental Pervert: In Chapter 35, Izuku gets an eyeful of Mina after they take Kota to Mandalay when he fell off the divider in the hot spring. Mina, true to form, starts teasing him about it.
- Original Flavour: Follows canon but with Mina taking a more active role in the development of both the story and Izuku.
- Point of Divergence: Mina is given more focus and somewhat displaces Bakugou as a main character since it focuses from her point of view, though he's still pretty integral given their relationships with Izuku.
- Shout-Out: During Izuku and Mina's first date, they head to a bookstore and purchase some manga and comics; Mina reads Fairy Tail and Izuku reads X-Men.
- The Tease: Mina will take most of the chances she is given to tease Izuku mercilessly and by god, is it funny to watch the poor boy struggle to realize if she is serious or not.
- Violently Protective Girlfriend: Mina barely keeps her rage in check when she confronts Bakugou over his treatment of Izuku. Bakugou of course is perfectly fine with throwing down with her and they nearly do before Kirishima and Izuku throw themselves in to pull them apart. Later she goes off at Uraraka when she refers to Izuku as 'Deku', seeing that nickname as anything but affectionate.
