Avo Agency is a roleplay group on Discord in which a number of writers get together and do Plot Things (and occasionally roll dice).
It follows a ragtag group of supernatural investigators, put together due to a clerical error. Headed by a grumpy yet maternal demon, they do their best to solve paranormal mysteries, even though the agency itself is just waiting for them to fail.
Avo Agency contains examples of:
- Broken Smile: Cici sometimes gets a stiff, overly wide grin when she's dealing with her PTSD triggers.
- Demonic Possession: The Agency has a whole department dedicated to exorcisms. Demon is, well, a demon, and Cici was possessed by a demon as a young child.
- Good Is Not Soft: Sure, Cici's sweet, but she's surprisingly good with a knife and more resilient than she gets credit for.
- Harmful to Minors: Cici was possessed by a demon at eight years old. Is still somewhat scarred by it, but represses it.
- Kaleidoscope Hair: Cici dyes her hair a different color every other month or so.
- The Pollyanna: Cici tends to remain cheerful, no matter how dire the situation gets.
