A New Session is a roleplay based around the popular webcomic Homestuck. It involves a cast of trolls and humans and their quest to try and beat Sburb and create a new universe, possibly being killed in the process.

A New Session provides examples of:
- Ambiguously Gay: Luke and Evan are implied to have a romantic past.
- Anyone Can Die: Like in Homestuck, it is entirely possible for any player to die at any given moment.
- Berserk Button: Talnem responds poorly to being misgendered.
- Cosplay: After discovering Alchemization, Emma makes herself a dress based off of Belle's yellow gown from Beauty and the Beast and another one based off of Elphaba's from Wicked
- Reluctant Hero: Before she got into the game, Emma was really skeptical about it.
