TBD is a digital broadcast subchannel in the United States, owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group and operated by Junkin Media.
Originally, after the success of the American Sports Network and Comet, Sinclair wanted to expand its digital subchannels. With TBD, the channel was originally targeted towards millennials, with a focus on Internet videos and geek-targeting content, both acquired and original. Unfortunately, ratings weren't strong, so eventually the channel was relaunched under Junkin Media with a brand new focus on viral video compilation shows and reality competition programming.
The channel's name was originally a placeholder, but when Sinclair's various purchases included the TBD.com domain name, the brand stuck.
In addition to over-the-air broadcast, the channel can also be streamed via its website
and Stirr.
