Deepika Padukone (born 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Hindi-language films.
After working as a model and in music videos for several years, Padukone made her Bollywood debut in Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om (2007) opposite Shah Rukh Khan to critical and commercial success. She has since made a name for herself as one of India's highest-paid and most critically acclaimed actresses. She is particularly noted for her wide range of roles.
She has also worked outside India, most notably in XXX Return Of Xander Cage
Padukone has been married to her frequent co-star Ranveer Singh since 2018.
