The Death Eaters
Lucius Malfoy
Heir to the supremely wealthy Malfoy household, and is one of the richest wizards in Britain. He is the husband of Narcissa.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite being a Death Eater, Orion notes that Lucius's affection for Narcissa is, at least, genuine.
- Obnoxious In-Laws: Orion loathes him, publicly bemoaning that Narcissa couldn't be wedded to someone better and calling him a greedy prat.
Rodolphus Lestrange
Husband to Bellatrix Lestrange.
- Amazon Chaser: He's very appreciative of Bellatrix's wildness. At least initially.
- Animal Motifs: He is compared to a bear at least once.
- Awful Wedded Life: His attitude towards his wife indicates that there's no more love in their marriage, if there ever was any in the first place.
- The Brute: The Lestrange family is infamously derided as savage and ill-mannered among the pureblood circles, and the thickset Rodolphus is no exception.
Rabastan Lestrange
Younger brother of Rodolhpus who was intended to marry Andromeda, before her elopement.
- Hopeless Suitor: He was considered as a possible husband for Colette Battancourt, only for her to dismiss the possibility not even a hour after meeting him.
- Unrequited Love Lasts Forever: He was meant to marry Andromeda Black a decade or so prior to the story, only for her to elope with a Muggleborn. Rabastan never got over this.
Evan Rosier
A maternal cousin of Bellatrix, Narcissa and Andromeda. Known for throwing exclusive parties, which most likely serves as a cover to Death Eater dealings.
- Evil Counterpart: He is a wild and charismatic fellow, with a dramatic flair that commands attention wherever he goes. Many readers have pointed out that he's exactly the kind of person Sirius would be if he's bought into the family's blood purist ideologies.
- To the Pain: According Sirius, this is his casting signature — Rosier enjoys to make his target suffer.
