Delia
An asari engineer, recruited to assist in trapping Master.

- Cloud Cuckoo Lander: A low-level example, but for her intelligence, she seems very blissfully oblivious to the sinister magnitude of Harding and Vintoria's schemes.
Dillon Harding
A male human Mandate operative, who was sent with Zelaria/Nasari in order to track down the bombers.

- The Charmer: Gets Vintoria on his side just by being friendly, along with offering her a place as his "right-hand woman" should his plan ultimately work out.
- Faux Affably Evil: Seems to have a friendly, jovial approach to his job, but he is part of the shadow organization for a reason, and his friendly nature seems to be just another way to get others on his side.
Master
An Eclipse turian, and Vintoria's superior. He was sent to capture Vintoria and return her to Eclipse.

- Badass in Distress: Currently in Mandate custody, but is no less dangerous for it.
- The Nicknamer: A decidedly malevolent version, referring to Zelaria as "lizard girl". Crosses over with Malicious Misnaming, given his ignoring of her constant corrections.
- Refers to Vintoria alternately as "little bird", which is closer to an Affectionate Nickname, and "forewoman", which is very much not.
- Turian Abomination: While he was once a turian, his Reaper upgrades make him much closer to this.
- Wicked Cultured: A fan of Les Misérables, to the point of using an instrumental of "Prologue/Look Down" as his boarding theme.
Vintoria
A female turian and one of the bombers, she surrendered to Mandate upon being tracked down, offering her information in exchange for protection.

- Dark Action Girl: Being a turian, Vintoria is more than capable of handling herself in a physical confrontation. This was proven when she nearly strangled Zelaria, a biotic, with her bare talons, only prevented from finishing her off by the need to protect herself when the ship was being vented.
- Defector from Decadence: More accurately, Vintoria seems to have exchanged one source of decadence, Eclipse, for another, Mandate.
Zelaria Cetari
A female salarian Mandate operative, sent with Harding as a subordinate to track down the bombers.

- Action Girl: Unlike many female salarians, although being a biotic helps quite a bit.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Other than a mention of her real name at the beginning, is exclusively referred to as Nasari.
- Poor Judge of Character: Trusted Harding implicitly, which ultimately proved a fatal mistake.
- Rasputinian Death: After having her helmet cracked and getting beaten by Master, then being choked unconscious by Vintoria, was finally spaced to lethal effect.
- Sacrificial Lion: Set up as the leader of the protagonists, but didn't last past the fourth chapter.
- Unwitting Pawn: Utterly unaware that Harding and Vintoria are joining forces to have her eliminated by Vintoria's former superior.
