United States of America
Official Name: United States of America
Ruling Party: Republican-Democratic Coalition (Democratic)
Ideology: Modern Liberalismnote
The United States has had a turbulent history in past decades, riddled with domestic issues that came to define the 60s, and still recovering from the thousands of young Americans who perished in the West African Savannah. Still, the United States will continue to carry the torch of liberty across the globe, until the menace of German fascism is forever extinguished. General Tropes
- Enlightened Self-Interest: The United States will meddle in foreign governments that stray too far from their interests, justifying their actions as necessary to stop Fascist tyranny from spreading to the free world.
- The Federation: The American-led Organization of Free Nations has become more than just a military alliance by MTNO's timeframe, taking the mantle as the proliferator of democracy and human rights. It has also branched into the areas of economic assistance and scientific development through the Economic Assistance Council and the Technological and Scientific Development Council respectively, bringing OFN members closer and making it into a feasible alternative to the KdN. Additionally, several non-governmental organizations are funded by OFN member states and play an important role in the OFN's expansion.
- Hegemonic Empire: Since the 1980s, the United States has primarily looked to soft power to expand and maintain its influence.
- Oppressive States of America: Depending on the success of the Bachmann Presidency, America call fall to authoritarian backsliding and cease to be a shining beacon of democracy, as elections are gerrymandered, protesters are beaten by pro-government paramilitaries and America continues losing its place in the global stage.
