Luna
The protagonist. A white haired girl who loves with her two loving parents. She is transported into a home that looks just like hers, but is dark and ominous.
- The Bad Guy Wins: In the normal ending, after having trapped her sister Lucy in her book and erased her from existence, she successfully escapes Lucy, leaving her trapped in the book forever.
- Big Bad: She trapped her sister in her magic book and wiped her from existence, which leads to Lucy seeking revenge.
- Cain and Abel: The Cain to Lucy’s Abel. She erased her sister from existence and trapped her inside a magic book to have their parents to herself.
- Enfant Terrible: The real example. Upon being given a magic book by an unnamed Evil Sorceress, she used it to imprison her sister, condemning her to non-existence in the outside world, and displays no remorse for it in the main game.
- Karma Houdini: In the normal end, she escapes the void inside the book and Lucy's clutches, thus getting away with imprisoning and Ret Gonning Lucy in the book to begin with. The secret ending, meanwhile, is ambiguous but seems to imply she is herself erased from existence.
- Ret-Gone: The secret ending implies that Luna was wiped from existence along with Lucy.
- Together in Death: A possible familial version is one of the interpretations of the secret ending- that both she and Lucy have vanished from existence and can now be together in the void for all eternity.
- The Unfavorite: Luna was increasingly ignored in favor of Lucy when the latter was born. The first flashback shows the parents at dinner heaping praise upon Lucy and asking about her school day while not even acknowledging Luna's presence. If she tries to talk to them afterwards, they tell her they're too busy to play with her, despite being willing to spend time with Lucy.
- Villain Protagonist: She trapped her sister Lucy in her magic book, erasing her from existence, so she could finally gain the love of their parents instead of Lucy. Then when Lucy comes back for revenge, Luna spends the game trying to avoid punishment for her evil deed.
- White Hair, Black Heart: While initially seeming to be an aversion, she is revealed to be a Villain Protagonist who wiped her sister from existence out of jealousy because she was getting all the love from their parents.
The Ghost Girl
Lucy
The antagonist of the game. A strange girl who traps Luna in the dark dimension to play a deadly game of hide-and-seek with her. She is actually Luna's sister who was trapped in her magic book so Luna could have their parents all to herself.
- Fate Worse than Death: She was Ret Goned and trapped inside a dark void within a magic book, alone for years as she cried out for her parents to save her.
- Good All Along: While initially built up as the Big Bad, she's actually more of a scary Hero Antagonist who wants revenge on the Villain Protagonist who banished her to non-existence inside a dark void.
- Hero Antagonist: While out for revenge, she just wants justice on the Villain Protagonist for imprisoning her inside her book.
- Ret-Gone: In the backstory, she was sealed inside Luna's magic book, which resulted in her parents no longer remembering her so Luna could have their love instead.
- Together in Death: A possible familial version is one of the interpretations of the secret ending- that both she and Luna have vanished from existence and can now be together in the void for all eternity.
- Vengeful Ghost: She was Ret Goned by Luna, who was sick of her getting all the parental attention, and spent years trapped in her magic book. When the seal weakens, she escapes the book and goes after Luna, trying to drag her in with her.
Luna's Parents
Luna's mother and father, who love her dearly. However, in the past, they ignored her in favor of her baby sister, Lucy.
The Sorceress
An unnamed hooded woman who gave Luna the book to make her sister disappear.
