The titular "gangster mama". Jasmine is a mysterious 16 year old young woman whom Bowser had a one night stand with five months prior to the start of the comic. After getting impregnated by him, Jasmine left the strip club she had previously been working at to track her baby daddy down. She gives the king two options upon finally reuniting with him. Pay 80% in child support or marry her. Bowser reluctantly agrees to the latter option on one condition. Receive a genuine kiss from him within a month or face eviction from his castle in addition to doing chores around his castle. Willing to give it her all, Jasmine begrudgingly accepts her new duties as a maid/caretaker while doing everything in her power to win the challenge.

The mighty koopa king who serves as the antagonist of the Super Mario Bros franchise. One day, he was finally about to give his long term rival Mario the coup de grace until Jasmine interfered to chew him out for not taking any responsibility when he (accidentally) got her pregnant. Bowser now spends his days trying his best to make sure his baby mama doesn't win the bet imposed upon her by giving in to her charms.

- Tsundere: Pretends to hate Jasmine and goes as far as to claim he prefers women like Princess Peach so that his lips don't touch Jasmine's.
Bowser's seven other children. From oldest to youngest, they are Ludwig, Iggy, Morton Jr., Roy, Wendy, Larry, and Lemmy. The Koopalings are introduced gradually in that order as they return from summer camp and meet Jasmine with some of them eager to have a step mother while others...are not impressed one bit and wish to see her out of the picture. Ludwig in particular has a strong desire to see Jasmine removed from the castle so that her and Bowser's child can't succeed the throne before he does.

The red and green clad brothers of the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario's the outgoing fearless type who's not above teasing Luigi and his more passive Lovable Coward esque traits while Luigi's the soft spoken more introverted type who's not much for adventuring and saving the princess.

- Amazon Chaser: Luigi seems to like Jenni solely for her amazing combat prowess.
- Official Couple: Luigi becomes this with Jenni during the 4-year time skip between chapter 20 and 21.
- Took A Level In Jerk Ass: Mario is subtly meaner to Luigi here than in the actual games where he might make him do things he's uncomfortable with on occasion in the name of saving the princess. Luigi tells Jenni in Chapter 17 that Mario used to play mean pranks on him as kids such as locking him out of the house at night until their mother unlocked the door.
