Main Characters

    Sasha Waybright

A rebellious 20-something, still haunted by her experiences in Amphibia over a decade earlier.

    Heather Waybright
Sasha's wife, whose origins remain a mystery. She works as an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department, and also proves more competent than most of her colleagues.

    Zami Reddick
A mysterious witch from the Boiling Isles who Heather discovered in her dead parents' basement. She appears to have some sort of personal connection and knowledge of "Him" and the multiversal conflict the Waybrights have been thrust into.

LAPD

    Asimo Boonchuy
An often clumsy, nerdy officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, Anne Boonchuy's husband and one of Heather's closest friends... who also seems to keep the moral compass many of the other LAPD officers lack.

    Sugar Cain
The brash, irritable superior of both Heather and Asimo. In addition to his responsibilities as an LAPD member, he is also searching for someone known as the "Realmwalker", which he believes is the key to him returning "home".

    Chief Gustafson
The powerful, intimidating chief of the LAPD- but his reputation proves to be just a front for his cowardice.

    Yyric Peters
One of Chief Gustafson's second-in-commands, who lacks physical strength but was promoted by Gustafson on account of being unfailingly loyal to the Chief's ideals. Married to fellow officer Matthew Peters.

    Lieutenant Mccoy
Chief Gustafson's other second-in-command, and one of the smartest and most capable leaders in the entire police department.

The Citadel

     Agent C
A mysterious operative who has been searching for the key to build a portal to Amphibia for reasons unknown.

  • The Expy With No Name: They are simply referred to as "Agent C" or "The Agent", a common trait among current or former Citadel residents.

     The Council of the Masters
An ancient league of sages watching over the Multiverse from the Citadel and protecting it from those who may disturb its equilibrium (read: "Him").

Antagonists

    Zhan Tiri
An ancient demon, who failed to usurp the Corona throne with the power of the Sundrop and the Moonstone- and seems to have been somehow revived by "Him", retaining both regenerative capabilities and the supernatural powers that the Stones granted her.

  • Deal with the Devil: In exchange for her eternal servitude once her revenge was complete, "He" gave her a mortal body and an army large enough to conquer the entire kingdom of Corona.
  • The Dragon: She is this for "Him", being sent to Earth as an assassin to take out Zami.
  • Tragic Villain: While she once leveraged his favor as a weapon to take over Corona, Zhan Tiri is only still fighting for "Him" because she has no other choice- her Deal with the Devil she made to resurrect herself bound her to "His" eternal servitude.

    "Him"
A multiversal conqueror, the hidden hand controlling both the Illuminati and the demon(s) that the Waybright family have encountered. Considered an extreme threat by the members of the Council of the Masters.

  • Big Bad: So far, he is this to the entire fanfic. And considering how powerful the first 4 episodes have painted him to be, it is unlikely (though not impossible) that an even bigger bad will emerge.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: He is the man behind both Zhan Tiri and the possessed Yyric, the Arc Villains of the Opening Arc.
  • Multiversal Conqueror: "His" modus operandi, according to Zami, is to open gateways into other realms and send his proxies (whether armies of brainwashed agents like the Illuminati or those who made a Deal with the Devil like Zhan Tiri) to take control of the dimension and eliminate all those who may pose a threat to him. He states in Episode 3 that this is to "return the multiverse to what it once was". What this actually means is as of yet unclear.
  • The Scottish Trope: Everybody thus far in the story, from Zami to the Council of the Masters, is to afraid to even speak "His" true name. Thus, the characters in the story tend to only refer to him by a set of masculine personal pronouns.
