Awesome Music / Vs. Dave and Bambi

Go To

Say what you will about the older versions of the mod, but it's safe to say version 3.0's music is impressive.

Dave
  • "House" is a calm song, yet it's also hard enough to get you ready for the rest of the mod.
  • "Insanity" is a smooth increase in difficulty from "House", while also having an amazing instrumental to go with the vocals.
  • "Polygonized" is a significant stand-out for its intensity and catchiness as Dave Turns 3D.

Bambi

  • "Blocked" is a great introduction to Bambi's week, hitting the player immediately with a high-energy, hype-filled dubstep beat that remains that way nearly the whole way through.
  • "Corn Theft" brings a catchy beat reminiscent of rap music and even contains a few references to the recursive fanmod Golden Apple Edition.
  • "Maze" has a trap-esque vibe in its instrumental and delivers on the funkiness from the previous songs, even ending with a few sections with a tuned Bambi voice.

Freeplay Extras

  • "Escape from California" is a surprisingly tense and fast-paced song that wouldn't sound out of place in a dramatic chase sequence.

[[DATA EXPUNGED]]

  • "Cheating". While the song has a frustrating modchart, the song itself is decently catchy if repetitive, despite mainly being added as an anti-cheating measure. Heck, even the instrumental version is a bop!
  • "Unfairness" is a fast-paced erratic song spiced up with Angrish and an ominous instrumental fitting the Digital Abomination you are facing, culminating in a gorgeous piano at the end to crown your well-earned victory. The 3.5 remake is even better, keeping the oppressing feeling of the original with a more coherent melody and new effects that make Expunged sound downright demonic.
  • "Exploitation", the final song against Expunged, has a heavy final boss aura with a more solidified melody on Boyfriend's end and a few filters on Expunged's voice that manage to make its humorous singing sound legitimately menacing.
