• Ascended Fanon: Rapparep, the creator of Expunged, has given canonical information on the character, one of which is somewhat lifted from the famous Golden Apple fan mod - specifically the ability to create purple-hatted Bambi Minions. Its true form also resembles Bandu's own from the same mod, which has similarly inspired the headcanon that all residents of the 3D realm have access to similar forms.
• Approval of God: A fan named Sky! created the 5-minute Applecore featuring 3 separate versions of Bambi/Expunged. MoldyGH ended up appreciating this enough to make his own remix of it.
  • This song would later become a part of the massively-popular Golden Apple Edition, which got referenced several times in the 3.0 update. For example, motifs of "Disruption" and "Ferocious" appear in various Bambi songs, and Kabunga's voice is a pitched up Bandu.
• Colbert Bump: "Recursed" received a bump in recognition throughout December 2023 after its stems were featured in a fanmade spinoff of the Incredibox series of music-making games, aptly titled Incredibox: Recursed.
• Promoted Fanboy: RubysArt and AadstaPinwheel, 2 composers most well known for their work in Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition, would eventually go on to create songs for the mod's 3.0 update (specifically, "Adventure" and "Recursed", respectively).
• Similarly Named Works: "Overdrive" shares its title with two different songs from two different mods: Hotline 024 and Friday Night Funkin': Antipathy.
• Throw It In!: According to Rapparep, during the creation of Bambi's first songs, Moldy was supposed to make a more standard chromatic out of the 'break_phone.ogg' file, but instead simply threw the file into FL Studio's Slicex and went with it. This misunderstanding would go on to define Bambi's signature untuned style of vocals, which has persisted to this very day.
• Word of Gay: MoldyGH has confirmed that Bambi is asexual and aromantic; Rapparep has confirmed that Expunged is genderfluid.
